Thought for flow

We’re multi-perspective beings.

There’s the perspective we hold in what we can call our conscious awareness. It’s quite common to hold other unconscious perspectives as well. Some in conflict to the one we’re consciously aware of — but this is matter for a different post.

Both of these, the conscious and unconscious, combine to define the perspective of the personality that, as a mask, we wear to play the human game.

Then there’s the perspective of our Higher Self. Call it Soul, Higher Mind, or whatever. It’s that part of us that’s non-physical, but still very much involved in this life we’re currently experiencing.

Keep expanding the idea and we could imagine the perspective of our Over-Soul. And then more. Infinitely upward and godward.

But let’s keep this simple and relevant, shall we.

As the spiritual beings in human form that we are, at any given time we hold two main perspectives: that of our personality, and that of our Higher Self.

At all times, there’s a vibrational relationship between the two.

Like notes in a musical chord, those two intertwined can be experienced as harmonious, in sync, aligned, in flow… or can rather be felt as dissonant, out of sync, out of alignment.

Similarly to how we can hear and sense when musical notes don’t play well together with one another, we get to feel as well when the relationship between our personality’s perspective and that of our Higher Self don’t get along well.

We feel contracted. In very plainly terms, we feel bad.

On the flip side, when the point of view from which we’re relating to life — the perspective of our personality — , is a match to how our Higher Self sees, there’s a palpable sense of expansion.

We feel good. Not as it “meh, I’m ok”, but as in I feel awesome existing.

This natural mechanism of vibrational resonance, and the fundamental sense of feeling contracted or expanded, bad or good, that comes with it, is here to serve you in one main way:

To navigate through your life towards the highest expression of your most expanded sense of self.

To flow as who you really are.

To align with your true nature.

To tune into and allow the manifestation of that which propels your evolution and expansion.

Let’s back up for a moment. We’re talking about perspectives here. But, what is a perspective? What are we actually talking about in here?

The thoughts or mental landscape from which you’re relating to your world.

As pointed to above, if the thoughts you hold and give energy to are a vibrational match — i.e. are in harmonic relationship with — the thoughts of your Higher Self, you’ll feel good.

Believe something to which, in a sense, your Higher Self disagrees with, and you’ll feel the contraction. You’ll feel the lowering of your energy. The increase in your resistance.

Why do you think a belief like “I am not worthy” feels like shit. Because it’s a mismatch to your Higher Self’s perspective.

So there’s these two perspectives from which I get to relate to whatever is going on in my life: that of my human personality and that of my non-physical Higher Self.

The vibrational dynamic between these two, and the possibility to use it as a tool for expansion and evolution, is fascinating to me.

The ultimate process of self-mastery is about using this dynamic to, whenever needed, redirect our intention, focus, and actions towards the re-establishment of our flow.

This is the main game of life: to find our ways to flow into more of who we really are.

Here’s a core spiritual hack:

Expand your personality’s perspective to match more of your Higher Self’s point of view.

Look for ways to see yourself as your Higher Self — our Soul, God, All That Is, the Universe — sees you. Explore the ways to relate to your circumstances from your Higher Self’s point of view.

Can you imagine that for a moment?

How would an absolutely-and-unconditionally loving being would thing about ? About what you’re going through? About you in the face of your current challenges?

This is what we need more of: thoughts that will restore our true flow.

More thought for flow.
