Some Days We’re Afraid We’re Not Gonna Make It

Let’s face it:

To become a digital nomad family WHILE building a global Movement AND strengthening a business involves a lot of details.

A freaking LOT.

Each one of those three adventures is a Universe in itself, with many, many, many details, like:

  • Logistics to organize and implement.
  • Business to work on, clients to take care of, and programs to deliver.
  • Research and learning curves.
  • Financial and legal themes to take care of.
  • Content to create.
  • Morning checkpoint meetings. Weekend creative meetings. Nightly update meetings.
  • New dynamics to get used to — e.g. integrating the unschooling life as conscious parents/family, while supporting our teenage son in developing his new mindset.
  • Building new habits and making sure we stay in alignment with what we really want to experience as we go.

And we could keep going!

Let’s not forget that there’s also «life»

For example, I just realized we ran out of cat’s food and toilet paper. So after publishing this Chronicle, guess what? I need to go to two different stores to get what we need before both stores close, and come back fast enough as Leo prepares dinner for the family to eat together.

Just to mention a teeny-tiny detail.

The icing on the cake…

By daring to act on our highest excitement at this moment, things have surfaced for us to explore and, if we chose to, transcend them:

  • Our resistances.
  • Our fears.
  • Our still lingering emotional baggage.

In short, that which is not a match to living the new adventure we’re giving ourselves to.

It’s easier said than done.

Forget the romantic bullshit about being entrepreneurs, and enjoying the digital nomad lifestyle traveling happily around the world for a moment.

Even forget we’re thoughtful and spiritual people with +30 years of deep inner work.

At times it just feels as if we’re biting off so much more than we can chew.

There are days when we feel afraid. Moments when doubt is present… and we don’t know if we can do it.

Right always Yoda is.

But… you know what?

We’re not quitting.

Not because quitting is “bad.”

No. (btw I have a blogpost titled “Consider Quitting a Valid Option” in case you want to check it out).

“Why are you not quitting if you feel like that?” you might ask.

Well… because beyond and under all the fear, the doubt and the tiredness… there’s excitement.

True, authentic, pure excitement for TEM, for our journey, for the awakening and the expansion of consciousness this adventure is bringing into our lives!

And when we connect to the vibration of our excitement… we thrive, we shiver, and we have a soulgasm!!!

So… we aren’t quitting.

Nope.

But one thing we’ll do is fine-tune some processes.

Case in point: we will reduce… the frequency of the Chronicles from two per week, to just one. That will not only give us a few extra hours per week — that for sure we can use! — but will also allow us to enhance the quality and value to provide on each post.

So, from now on we’ll see you every Monday.

Oh! One last thing

Just an inviting nudge for you to give yourself permission, right now, to tweak something in your life. What could be something that, if you change or adjust, can make room for less overwhelm and open the space for more excitement in your life?
